Chef Jacques Pépin shares recipes for healthy, home-cooked meals using readily available fresh foods, supermarket staples and simple techniques. Pépin incorporates influences from Asia, Latin America and Europe, including his own classic French background. Each episode features four or more dishes. Some recipes include gnocchi with eggs and scallions, bluefin tuna tartare with apple, fricassee of Brussels sprouts, and minicheesecakes on arugula.
