NSLMology: Science of Sporting Art

National Sporting Library & Museum

This Spring, NSLM melds art with science to create NSLMology, an exhibition for explorers of all ages! Visitors are invited to experience scientific principles within three centuries of paintings, sculptures, works on paper, and hands-on activities. Get up close and personal with the physics of locomotion and identify meteorological patterns, ecology, the science of colors, and even chemistry.

Ranjani Shettar: Earth Songs for a Night Sky

'Earth Songs for a Night Sky' is a multi-faceted project by Ranjani Shettar (b. 1977, Bangalore, India). Drawing from her environment in rural India, Shettar has created hand-carved wood sculptures and a multi-part piece that wraps up the gallery walls.
