The second in the four-part Ring cycle of Richard Wagner, Die Walküre, is a profound musical drama based on Norse mythology of family relationships, betrayal, morality and sacrifice between gods and mortals.  This production from the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, features Stuart Skelton, John Lundgren and Nina Stemme, and is conducted by Sir Antonio Pappano.

The third opera in Wagner's four-part Ring cycle, Siegfried, involves the young hero Siegfried, who comes of age, learns courage, and understands his identity and mission to save Brünnhilde.  This production of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, conducted by Sir Antonio Pappano, features Stefan Vinke and Nina Stemme.

The first installment of Wagner's four-part Ring cycle, Das Rheingold, is drawn from Scandinavian and German mythology and legend, and establishes the basis of the narrative for the entire cycle in which gods, giants and humans clash in a struggle to gain control of gold from the Rhine river that can be crafted into a ring of world power.  This production from the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, conducted by Sir Antonio Pappano, features John Lundgren and Dame Sarah Connolly.

Verdi’s light-hearted, and final opera, Falstaff, is a work based on the character from Shakespeare’s Merry Wives of Windsor, is full of merriment and mischief as the knight Falstaff tries to seduce two wealthy women.  This production from the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, features Bryn Terfel and Ana Maria Martinez, and is conducted by Nicola Luisotti.
