Composer Jessica Krash discusses her new cello concerto written for her long-time collaborator Tanya Anisimova, which receives its world premiere performances November 3 & 4 by the Alexandria Symphony conducted by James Ross. Ms. Krash takes us on a guided tour of the concerto, and discusses her composition process, her working relationship with Ms. Animisova, and a couple of her future projects, in conversation with WETA evening host James Jacobs.
