Foundations & Government Support

WETA’s dedication to the educational enrichment of our community is made possible in part by the partnership of private, family, community and corporate foundations, as well as government agencies.

Our funders' investment provides support for:

  • The local broadcast of programs like Sesame Street, Reading Rainbow, Antiques Roadshow, Great Performances, Bill Moyers Journal and others.
  • WETA's community programs like Ready To Learn and Hometown Heroes.
  • The production of nationally-distributed programs like Through Deaf Eyes, The Jewish-Americans and Ken Burns's THE WAR.
  • The equipment and operating structure required to keep WETA on the air and in the community.

Please contact us to learn more about how your foundation can partner with WETA for the cultural and educational enrichment of our community.

With appreciation to WETA's funders...

WETA thanks the following foundations and many others for providing operational support funds that provide flexibility for WETA in creating and delivering broadcast services and educational initiatives for the community.
